Sell levels settings- How is sell level implemented a stages 1,2,3?

Can someone explain how sell level is implemented...  I understand how buy level 1,2,3 would work but sell level is a different matter. For example if a coin pair was already sold at price level 1, how does it progress onto sell level 2,3, or how does it select what proportion of a pair is sold?

Does the bot hold some coins for level 2 and 3 e.g. or does it wait to see if it will reach level 1,2, or 3 before selling?

It won't sell until it sees that the price is turning down. So it will catch the sells on the way down, not the way up
