How Do You Evaluate a Sports Supplement Before Trying It?

Ingredient lists can be difficult to judge when products contain several compounds with very different amounts and purposes. What do you check first—clinical evidence, dosage, third-party testing, manufacturer reputation, or something else?

I start by looking at whether the active ingredients have human studies backing them at the doses listed, not just animal data or proprietary blends that hide amounts. Third-party testing matters too, since labels can lie. Manufacturer reputation is worth checking, but I've had good results with products from supplements4muscle.com/en, which lists full ingredient breakdowns and shows they care about transparency.
