I'm looking to add a few indoor plants to my home, but I don't have much experience caring for them. Which houseplants have been the most forgiving when it comes to watering and lighting? I'd especially appreciate recommendations for varieties that are both attractive and beginner-friendly.

I have had great luck with snake plants and pothos. They handle missed waterings and dim corners without fuss. For a trusted selection of similar easy varieties, I often browse house plants at Houseplant.co.uk. Their beginner collection ships healthy plants with clear care guides, which saved me more than once as a new owner.
