Hi Gun,

Great job by the way! I love the promise of this product - I havent started using it yet.   .

I have a few issues with my v3.3.

I downloaded from here: https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/releases/download/Gunbot3.3.2/GUNBOT_v3.3.2_Poloniex_Bittrex_Patch.zip

Here are my issues:

1. I do not get the welcome screen (API Keys Input) when I open. It launches straight into the settings.
2a. My GUI looks a bit different and its missing a few settings that I saw on the tutorial, for example:
 - "Level to use" for STEPGAIN
 - "Best currencies settings"

2b. The STOP, START, LOAD, SAVE panel is nested weirdly in the centre-right (image attached below)
2c. It also has no scroll bars on small screens which is a pain.

I am running Windows 10 build 1703.

I am ready to run it but I just want to confirm if all these symptoms are bad. I have a phobia for rogue bots...  Thanks.

There was no opening screen for me. I had to input the data in the top right of the GUI (windows, going to switch to Linux once I've gotten my head around it!), underneath the currency pair and market. I can screenshot if you like?

Sounds like a similar experience to mine. I just setup a windows VPS. Tried following on the linux instructions but I got lost somewhere.  I will eventually get around this. I just want to start this thing! I think our observations are a normal part of the new version?? I hope Gun can comment

Bot sold at a loss today using Stepgain/Stepgain w/ default settings, pics below and a copy of the log.  It bought, and then before it sold it showed the bought price as much lower than what it actually recorded the buy price at.  It also records the sold price incorrectly.

something seems to be weird with the price to sell value, which is changing randomly(?)

might that be the function which should prevent from using the bot with an invalid API?

Version 3.3.2

I am not sure if this is a bug or if its the bot doing its magic. The number of decimals are off for the displayed LP.

Here is a case where;
Thelast price was 0.0204
The GAIN price to buy is 0.019646333
but in the underlined,  the last price is displayed as 204.000 and GAIN price to buy as 196.4633...

Is this normal/expected behaviour?

Proxy Issue?

I am running the Bot (recent Polo version 3.3.1 on windows) iin a corporate network and need to use a Proxy to connect to the interwebs.
But all I'm getting is the error mentioned below.
I am successfully running on other win machines and I am comfortable to configure them (just as cryptonauta suggest in the telegram group) but these configs don't help.

after 10 days running the new version of GB i see that 70% of my pair stop running and no thing showing on console section

Multiple BUYs and a SELL for a loss on Bittrex.   But a profit on next buy/sell.

Manual buys will mess up the bot's ability to sell properly (will probably sell at a loss).

Currently, the bot will override it's buy price with the latest (manual buy) price.   It will then ignore any buy prices that it used before this... Only the last bought price in the My Trades book is used.

So if it buys:
BOT-->            AMT: 50    LP = $2     Paid $100   
and then then coin drops -- and I manually buy
MANUAL-->     AMT:30    LP=$1.50   Paid $45

It will throw away the "$2" price completely, and start selling GAIN% above price $1.50 (with all 80 coins).   This will be a loss.   This is probably unnecessary, but I'll do the simple math below to show it's a loss.   I'm assuming GAIN is at 0% for ease of computation (it should buy and sell and break EVEN with gain at 0%)

If the bot sells the 80 units at $1.50 (ignoring the fact it bought the 50 at a higher price) it will reap $120.    But there is $145 invested.  This is a loss of $25

Note: if you are freaked out that I have GAIN set to 0% -- ok, lets say it was at 2.5% --- it would then sell at $123 instead of $120... Still a loss of $22

Yeah I've noticed that...
Also good to know: Gunbot cancels ALL your manual sell orders you might have set for some expensive manual trades that are expected to bounce back soon, but when you want gunbot to trade on smaller volatility while it returns to that point, can get pretty expensive....

Step Gain doesn't work: it sells in one go, most of the time at a profit (% yet to examine more closely)

Occasionally it sells at a loss.
(or very frequently when you think it's a smart idea to buy a pair that is being pumped to the moon (as price goes beyond upper BB GB thinks price is too high to buy) and you think its a great idea to use GB GAIN %, it will sell quickly again and again..., while you think you are doing great in this pump, it sells at its old sell price still set from it's last buy...(as kindly explained in post above) I learned it the hard way by pissing away a a few hundred bucks of coin in a state of euphoria 
(I only noticed it when I looked up the pair in cointracking.info even with the losses almost break even due to the pump )

OR: it doesn't sell when it should at Sell level 1 when you have a higher value in GAIN setting..
(I knew it defaults to GAIN when it lacks data so still had it at 5% (from the above gb & me pump adventure ) but this is after running for hours on bittrex with delay at 8/8)

I also have seen multiple buys at the same price, so I advise you reduce max trade as I have found 0.1 BTC can go down hill pretty quick....

So a high setting in GAIN can prevent SG from selling at a %profit set in Sell level 1, but I have also seen sells at a loss when it disregards GAIN setting (not sure if it happens early when GAIN is supposed to replace lack of data or of its something else). Nothing really big (yet) but would definitely double check your config for each pair (perhaps try GAIN 3 or maybe go for old-fashioned BB for now)

Multiple 0.1-0.2 BTC buys of a now plummeted short term shitcoin that was getting lots of action before you dozed off and that should have (all) sold at a profit you were trading before your little nap in front of your computer after having seen your manual sell orders "evaporate a nice chunk of your coins" can also be fun to wake up to.

This culmination (but memorable lesson) approximately farted away ±1BTC in the last 20 hours. (not counting bags of BTC rise or altcoin dip, just plain stupid deletion of funds)

Check your configs and may your bots be kind to you.

I'm getting tired of multiply buys, when GB issues a sell order, that is never filled, and right after that in the same starts buying the same coin more and more and more, so 5-6-7 times buys are not OK, when they eat up 30% of your balance .... and GB continues to put unfilled sell order, and buy again again and again ....
