when I go to Localhost:5000 it asks for a password to log in. I don't know what the password is. How can I get around this?

In general you define that password on your own when setting up the first time.
If you lost or canīt remember just do a new fresh install. First time on GUI you will be asked to set up the password
.

I deleted the program and downloaded it again. It's still asking for a password.

It never asked to set the password. It only asks for login password. What can I do?

I witnessed a friend of mine trying to login with Microsoft Internet Explorer and it wouldn't work.  Didn't log him in.   So he thought he had forgotten his password.

When he used Google Chrome he was able to login.
