Suggestion: Taker and Maker offer configuration
« on: January 26, 2018, 05:37:35 PM »
Hello, I believe it is very important the gunbot have option of setting whether the bot should make offers 'maker' or 'taker' deals because the rates have very big difference.
Maker fee: 0.15%
Taker fee: 0.25%

In some cases, bitfinex the maker fee is 0%.

Is there a forecast date for this setting?

AFAIK the bot always takes a maker fee. At least my orders are always limit orders (maker fee). I can see that, because in some cases the bot was a bit late some sales, and they did not get filled.

Does this always happen or only when the offer no longer exists?

We need an option to define the offer type, it will be a very big economy.

I am using GDAX and orders are being placed with FEES.  Maybe they are limit orders but if you buy on GDAX higher than the bid price, it will be placed as a market order with fees.  Anybody else?
