I guess most of your pairs are BTC or ETH pair. Take a look at BTC and ETH movement to understand why the script is warning about.

upon more careful observation, I think even a 40-40 bb wouldn't sell at that point. exit point is below SMA, and almost as a rule we don't sell below SMA. if traded under say bbgain, it might have sold with gain set under or around 2%. so if you wanted a way around this, pick something where you can set fix gains, eg. gain, bbgain,  stepgain or bbstepgain. set your buying point not too deep from the SMA and sell for a moderate gain, say about 1.5 or even less. if you want to be really clever, try to buy at the low bb line (might take some time to happen), or just slightly above, and sell for a fat profit (set gain no less than 5%). you might be very pleasantly surprised. in fiat you'll not really make any money, as the primaries are dropping like shit off a pigeon ... but, they will pick up. maybe not soon, but when they do, you'll be ready having amassed a lot with the bot. of course, take some precaution against to deep drops with the use of the built in safety parameters of the strats.

I have the same issue. I am using bbstepgain with sell level 2,5,70 and gain 0.6. Gunbot has been buying but not selling anything. The prices of the pairs have been up (in terms of BTC, I am not sure if it cares if BTC/USD goes up or down?)

Some help would be appreciated to understand this situation.

if your SELLLVL: is set to 2 you will not see much selling with SELLLVL2: set to 5 ... try setting it lower, to 1, and keep the other settings or just slightly tweak.

"bbstepgain": {
            "NAME": "bbstepgain",
            "TRADING_LIMIT": whatever,
            "PERIOD": 15,
            "BUY_LEVEL": 0.1,
            "GAIN": 0.6,
            "EMA1": 16,
            "EMA2": 8,
            "HIGH_BB": 41,
            "LOW_BB": whatever you fancy, it aparently works if the bot is buying OK,
            "STDV": 2,
            "SMAPERIOD": 50,
            "SELLLVL1": 2,  I would consider also lowering this a bit, maybe 1.2 or 1.5 or even less, 0.8 would work to speed
 things up

            "SELLLVL2": 5,
            "SELLLVL3": 70,
            "SELLLVL": 1, set this to 1 to start sell cycle earlier
           ...

this is and old strat, keep any other settings in the new strat stock
