GAIN settings interfering BB strategy?

Hey Everyone,

In a telegram group I belong to, one of the members created a utility to chart the log files, and it seems like GAIN strategy settings are taking priority over the BB strategy settings that I have selected.

Is this true?

Because it would think that by selecting the BB as my buy/sell strategy, only the BB settings should be relevant ... but that seems not to be the case.

Can anyone confirm this? That if I want to run a pure BB setup, I need to set my GAIN strategy settings to 0 so they don't interfere with the BB settings?

Hi,

I think it depends on the version of the Gunbot you're using.

But GAIN is used as a safety when the BOT can't get, calculate or understand the BB settings.

And I don't think you want to set your GAIN for 0.

Many of us do attempt to run in pure BB.  But it can take hours for the computer to get enough data to properly generate it's own BB.
