v4.0.5 GB rebuys 5 mins after sell for a higher price at top BB.

Hi,

Can anyone help me out on why my GB is doing this.
happens often with pumping coins.

top line in table below is a rebuy, usually after 5 minutes after sell, at a price higher than the last sell and generally at the top of a pump.
Definitely not at low BB price and either near or out of the top BB.

Me too...

My first ever 2 gb trades:

1) unnecessary fire-sale sold all my coins,

2) bought some of them back at a higher price.

Ok, i did play around with the values but i did not find a cause/solution.
Dirty fix:
Raise BUY_LEVEL to 1%

I'm getting some weird behavior too.

This was with defaults for BB (if I recall)

It bought higher 6 mins later, but it's right at the top of the band.

once again and for last time: you keep looking at someone else's charts instead to look at what GUNBOT values for BB are. And yes this is ridicolous, considerign how many times this has been repeated.
IF: gunbot caluclation of BB are wrong..then i can accept and consider these kind of reports.

If it is the expected behavior to buy at the top that is ridiculous. Clearly the bb forumula is wrong.
Why on earth would you want to buy at the top of the bb? Yes we are comparing it to other charts because clearly they are more accurate.
I ran version 4 for several days then switched back to 3. Doing much better on version 3 without this ridiculous behavior.

Well then do stepgainbb and set buy level 1 to 1.5 for example. It will buy -1.5% under EMA value.

I've seen that happen several times as well, but this also happens which tells me there's something wrong with the formula:

BB Settings at 25% buy level, and wham, it buys 25% below the high band.  Or it buys right on the SMA rather than near the low band.  The graph is from my bot running gunthy gui on 4.0.5 with EMA set to 2/4.  All data used for the graphs is from gunbot directly.
