I understand your surprise; at first, I couldn't believe that everything would be tightened up so quickly. The rules have indeed been changing since March, and many people now have to think about identity verification, which not everyone is comfortable with. To be honest, I didn't expect everything to change so quickly, I just got used to the old rules. Hello, Gunbot owner here. For about a month now I've been trying to contact a mod/admin for Gunbot shop about paid strategies. Like many others I've realized all the pre-baked in strategies that come with Gunbot are useless to barely useful and the only quality strategies are paid for on top. Understandable.

But I'm at the point where Ive been trying to contact a mod/admin to see if development for these paid strategies is dead - or if they are still alive and able to purchase with good reason.

I guess my bigger question is the development for Gunbot dead? Because I've been trying to figure out whether or not I should sell my license for pennies on the dollar or if I'm even able to buy and maintain some of the higher end paid strategies such as StepGridMutant.

Thank you for any and all responses. Just wanting to get back into Gunbot now that I have the extra funds to do so but feeling like it's a dead project now.

From my experience, when a name like this pops up on a forum, it’s usually worth slowing down and checking context first. I’ve seen people jump to conclusions about usernames, sites, or projects and end up confused, when a quick look at comments, history, and community feedback would’ve cleared things up.

What I normally do is search for real user experiences, not polished descriptions. If there’s no discussion, no updates, or no clear purpose, I treat it cautiously and move on. If people are talking about it in a practical way—what worked, what didn’t—that’s a better sign than hype. Also, ask yourself what you actually need from it and whether it solves a real problem for you.

For example, I sometimes compare it with small indie projects  like adult game to see how transparent they are about what they offer. That kind of comparison helps set realistic expectations and avoid wasted time.
