I've been looking into housing options in Brussels recently, and I was surprised by how expensive renting a private apartment can get once you include utilities and other expenses. A friend suggested coliving spaces, where you get your own furnished room while sharing common areas with other residents. It sounds like a practical way to save money and meet new people, especially if you're new to the city. Has anyone tried coliving in Brussels, and how does it compare to renting your own apartment?

I moved to Brussels last year and went with brussels coliving through Comoon. It ended up much cheaper than a private apartment once you count utilities and internet. The furnished room and shared spaces made settling in easy, and the social events helped me meet people fast. For a rookie, it felt like the smarter first step.
