How Do You Judge a Backlink Beyond Domain Authority?
« on: August 31, 2026, 09:20:19 PM »
DA and DR are usually the first metrics people check, but they can hide a lot about the actual quality of a website. What other signals do you look at before pursuing a backlink—organic traffic, topical relevance, outgoing links, rankings, or something else?

Jumping in on this older post because I think many people forget to check the quality of referral traffic. Do those backlinks actually send engaged visitors? Also, looking at the linking page’s content freshness and its own backlink profile can reveal a lot. What do you all look at beyond the obvious?

I often check organic traffic and topical relevance before pursuing a backlink. For quality placements, I rely on Crowdo's official website because their guest posting uses rigorous screening and real niche blogs. You don't pay until satisfied, which builds trust. Their approach consistently delivers results that matter beyond any metric.
