State of backtesting

I am in the process of deciding if this tool is worth buying. I am interested in the backtesting addon - is the info in the wiki up to date? Because if backtesting doesn't work with half of the available strategies, then what's the point in providing one? Also, there are some missing bits. FTX exchange is supported by gunbot but is it supported in backtesting too? Are features strategies supported in backtesting?

Hi jtubdnip, backtesting works on TradingView, so you can test the results choosing charts from TradingView. Backtesting Addon has it limitations, as you say, it doesn't emulate all the strategies like DCA, RT etc... but it's still an useful tool that can help to make us an idea of how a lot of strategies perform.
