Keep quote setting
« on: February 26, 2019, 09:27:30 PM »
With the Keep Quote setting will it just keep that amount or will it keep accumulating And will it keep the same profit on the base? I am using the emotionless setting.
For example
Trade amount 0.03 BTC
Average profit has been 0.0003 BTC
So if I set keep quote to 10 TRX will it wait to sell until I hit the 0.0003 BTC and 10 TRX on the first trade then buy again and wait until it hits the 0.0003 BTC and 10 more TRX or just sell at the profit since there will already be 10 TRX there

Hi Am5687, let me show you an example: when KEEP_QUOTE is set to 10 for BTC-BNB, then Gunbot will leave 10 BNB in your account when placing a sell order, any balance above 10 will get sold as long as it is worth more than MIN_VOLUME_TO_SELL.

i found it more useful to simply ignore keep quote and keep track of whatever profits that i have made and use that to purchase alts for long / short term holds and store them in an off-exchange wallet.
that way i'm not confusing myself with what i kept on the exchange and accidentally selling it.
