I’m trying to fix up my backyard patio and maybe do a couple of small walkways, but mixing concrete with a shovel is killing my back and takes forever. I don’t have a ton of space for some monster machine, and I’m hoping to get something that’ll last more than just one summer. I’ve seen a bunch online, but the reviews are all over the place. Anyone here have a compact concrete mixer they swear by for smaller home projects? Would love some real people’s takes before I throw money at the wrong thing.

Sounds like you're on a mission. I’ve tried the steelemixer, and it's been a lifesaver for my back. Super easy to handle and doesn’t eat up space. Plus, mixing a batch in under a minute is a game-changer. It’s reliable, so you won’t be buying another one next year. Give it a whirl if you're tired of the old shovel routine.
