My experience with GB ~1.7 years shared for you
« on: March 31, 2019, 05:12:42 PM »
Hello GB-fam,

first of all I need to thank Gun and Allanstar without you this wild ride would be pretty boring!
And ofc the progamming team behind it.

Maybe you are like me in the first days, after I bought GB. Make money while you sleep sounds good hum?
Dont worry, you will loose money setting strats/pairs up. But in return you will make a lot of money.

Aha ...BaitChanV13... pff ...Nothing but empty words ... >:(

Let me give you some examples, I want to share with you that I have learned from all the time using GB.
After I have started GB with the good old gain/bb/stepgain settings. I figured out that pure tssl is the way I will maximise my BTC holdings!

Tip I
  • Setting up your strategy is only the skeleton of the money machine.
    Every Pair need its own config changes inside the main strat!

Tip II
  • The time you will invest into optimizing every single pair will pay out!
    Nothing comes from air, you have to work for it.

Tip III

~This bullshit I hear from every single person talking in GB Telegram like he is the boss himself. Give Me some infos I can use!~
Woah woah, settle down. I will.

This is the backtested CVC/BTC pair on Trex on a 30min Period. Pure TSSL with just 2 indicators! RSI + StochRSI

Code: [Select]
"RSI_BUY_ENABLED": true,
                    "RSI_BUY_LEVEL": 43,
                    "STOP_LIMIT": 10,
                    "STOCHRSI_ENABLED": true,
                    "STOCHRSI_BUY_LEVEL": 0.35,
                    "STOCHRSI_SELL_LEVEL": 0.53,
                    "BUY_RANGE": 0.1,
                    "SELL_RANGE": 0.2,
                    "GAIN": 0.6,
                    "TSSL_TARGET_ONLY": false

Wait your share the work?
sharing is caring!

On this Pair I use the RSI Method = Oscillator
If you cant get the pair tuned with this 2 indicators add the MFI option to cancel out "volume fakeout"-trades

Code: [Select]
"MFI_BUY_LEVEL": 30,
         "MFI_SELL_LEVEL": 31,
Some simple shit like this will work, remeber every pair need his own tested values!

If you are still not able to tame the pair, try to use RSI Method = Cross

This little c*nt is ADA/BTC again on Trex 30min period, good to go with RSI = cross, only one indicator is needed!

Code: [Select]
"BUY_RANGE": 0.2,
                    "SELL_RANGE": 0.4,
                    "GAIN": 1.1,
                    "STOP_LIMIT": 10,
                    "TSSL_TARGET_ONLY": false,
                    "RSI_BUY_ENABLED": true,
                    "RSI_BUY_LEVEL": 41,
                    "RSI_METHOD": "cross"

As you noticed I like to play safe. Class over Mass.
Lets Take 15 Trades as the very low average that will happen on a 4 month timeframe, like in my TV pictures.
15Trades * 20 good Pairs you run = 300 Trades.
4 Months are rougly ~120 Days.
300 Trades / 120 Days = ~~2,5 quality Trades a day. Instead of waking up to a bag, or a stop limit call.

My TSSL strat is pretty much the default, to fit this market I use period 30, buy level 0.1 (...) ,with some extra dollar cost avg. from Gunthar

Feel free to ask questions and if you enjoy my post you can gift me some Gunthy-Tokens pm me for the wallet
I hope there will be a excited conversation

Best Regards
BaitChan

Nice info.
The double-up option has saved me a couple of times, though it always feels risky, even with consistent victories due to it.
I haven't tried setting up different strats per coin, but perhaps I should.

Personally I like DU, but obviously re-buying after there is a significant drop from the original entry point. Some people repurchase every 1% drop and sometimes is good but it's easy to get burned doing that, Definitely a very nice tool if used properly.
