api issues
« on: October 31, 2018, 05:43:09 PM »
Hello, i have a question.
after temporary disabling 2fa on bittrex, my api keys dissappeared.
i used one single key for master key and "normal" key.
i created a new api key on bittrex and in the gunbot config file i did not change the master only the "normal" key.
now i got a message "unable to connect to exchange", i thought that the master key is connected to the license and not neccesary needed on bittrex.
i contacted my reseller, they want 0.01 btc to activate the new api key. oke my fault to disable 2fa probably the cause of the disappearing api keys, but this not really client friendly.
could someone explain the story of the master key in the config file?

it seems license is oke, but something wrong with bittrex connection.

please help me.

Thanks,

Johnny

Hi Johnny, your Gunbot license is linked to your Api key. Note that Bittrex removes your apis when you disable 2FA. Your reseller should have told you about the need of taking care of your api keys:

On the other hand, you are getting "Invalid license" message because your Master key doesn't exist now in your Exchange. You need to activate a new api key, so it would be added as Master key.
