ETH as Base Coin / "Paper Trading"

Hi all,

I am looking for a bot and still have not yet decided on which one. At the moment I have two questions:
- Can I set ETH as base (I assume so, but I could not find any experiences on that one)
- Is there a way to test settings in an "experimental"  setting, where I can watch if the bot does, what I want it to do ... More or less ;)

I do however wonder if some of you trade with eth as base ...

No, but I trade with EUR as another base currency. I have not looked at ETH markets in a while.
