Gunthy 5.0.5.4 is released, and it seems a good one :-)

In case you missed it, as it's not here:
https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/releases

It's here:
https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/Gunthy/releases

A few comments:

It seems to fix all youth problems of the previous 5.x version - a GREAT job!

You can now set it up to match your favorite marketplace curves and see how it behaves.
Gunthar documented this, see the above link.

An important new parameter!
I personnaly use the GUNTHY_API=true.
It permits to start/restart the bot with already SMA, EMA and BB filled with complete historical informations, downloaded on gunthy.org server(s).
This is as smart and useful.

The inexistant doc doesn't talk about it - but the BOT_DELAY parameter set to 1 by default makes fast queries, sometimes too fast, depending your number of pairs/platform.
If you get alerts of abnormal use of your API, or if you have a very few pairs, increase it.
I tried from 1 to 50 and found somewhere around 30 being the coolest for me.

Ah, and the official name seems to be Gunthy now.

Adios Gunbot, long life Gunthy - and thanks Gunthar.

I am a first-time gunthy/gunbot-user, and today I downloaded the 5.0.5.4 version.
Running 5 pairs for a few hours, but after some time the bot just seems to stop. I mean, I still see the gunthy console window, but I don't get any new on-screen output anymore.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Like here but with 5.0.5.4?
https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/issues/156

Edit: it just happened to me with 5.0.5.4, I confirm :-(
It seems to be gunthy.org trades history server which doesn't reply or such. This should happen if you're also using: "GUNTHY_API": true

Hello. what is this now?
Doesn't we get new versions in telegram inbox?
Aren't new versions personal and tied to API keys with a new hash algorithm that will prevent the use of unauthorized copies?

Just asking before download.

Thanks!

Greetings to Everyone !!!

I was running  GB v5.0.4 and just downloaded v5.0.54. I'm using the OS X version. I open the folder and saw it very different from GBv5.0.4
Read the " readme" file and it brought up more questions  then before reading it. Gun and/or staff , for many newbies and ignoramus like myself would it be possible to do a step by step install processes for the members who use OS X. Market is staged to be aiming to the moon now and we want to have our Gun loaded and cocked but need your help.

Thank You

Sergio

nope. all versions are personal, they always were. there was only one additinal API validation for existing users when the first version of the 500 series came out (to use one of the 500series bots). you can download your favourite version from github, as always.
... aaaand version 5055 is out in the meamtime ...

Thread Help & Beginners, many pages to read.

Or wait for the 5.0.5.x which is released within the next hours or such.
It's said to include docs in the Github wiki...

Gunthar announced it on Github for Saturday (local time), anyway I can't find the post for now, and it's Sunday now, I'm busy...
Don't worry, it's imminent.
