General Discussion / Re: Stable version for ARM
« on: February 07, 2021, 05:09:39 PM »
You can try the 21.1 version here:

But I would strongly advise using a VPS instead (preferably on Linux). You've got good ones for smoe $5/month and they can handle a lot more than a RasPi...

BTW, yes, TeleGram notifications not working on the latest ARM versions is a known issue.

General Discussion / Re: DOUBLE_UP doub
« on: February 05, 2021, 03:35:41 PM »
I'm trying to run a strategy using DOUBLE_UP my plan is to set a strategy to buy but only 50% of the base currency and then left the other 50% for the other 2 DU orders of 25% each.

my question is which setting is needed to prevent the bot buy more than 50%, but also allowing the DU orders to take place after?

I want to keep the other 50% to place DU orders but I'm afraid that if I set "TL_PERC": "50" or setting "FUNDS_RESERVE" would prevent the du orders to take place.

What's the standard procedure to make it?

I would suggest to first read op on this:

And then this:

Good luck and enjoy!

Beginners & Help / Re: Bot delay for binance
« on: January 28, 2021, 09:32:53 AM »

what delay are you using for botting at Binance? When I hover the Delay value it tells me that for Binance it can be lower then 10.

So how low can you go without getting a ban?

I would like the bot to do it automatically, so if it sold off while I was asleep it wouldn't buy back in.

Maybe the option Count_Sell can help?

Or make a remove pairs autoconfig:

If I wanted to move out of a coin to another, but still keep it trading on other coins, is there an option to tell it to stop further trading once it's sold off its inventory?

Remove that pair..?

Beginners & Help / Re: How to use Ignore Trades Before
« on: January 13, 2021, 09:22:35 AM »
I can't find any documentation on how this works or what values to input. Does it trail a certain amount of time behind the current time, or does it ignore everything before a certain date? Can someone provide a sample of how to use this?

It ignores all trades from before the given time. Time has to be given in UNIX/Linux time:

Code: [Select]
"IGNORE_TRADES_BEFORE": 1610531144271,
And also delete the json folder. GunBot will rebuilt it from the given time.

Beginners & Help / Re: Make Gunbot Cycle Faster
« on: January 13, 2021, 09:21:47 AM »
Am I right in thinking the Exchange API's are intentionally slow?... Some are faster than others though.

I suspect you are right. Especially during big dumps/pumps you will see exchange API's performance "drop" all of a sudden...

It's set at 1. Doesn't seem to do anything no matter what I set it at. How fast does yours cycle?

I have it at 0 (at BInance) but still have almost 8/9 secs. per pair. But I have a very heavy autoconfig which does a lot of actions between pairs...

Is there a way to do it? Right now it only cycles one pair at a time every 8 seconds... On Binance

Have you tried lowering the delay? (I guess it's still at the default 10 ATM...)

Beginners & Help / Re: Change Api Key from Bittrex to Binance
« on: December 30, 2020, 02:51:30 PM »
You need at least one working/registered API key so Gunbot can check if you're entitled to use it...

In this case I would suggest you contact your reseller (do not react on PM's you get, this are probably impersonators/scammers).

Technical Support & Development / Re: Install Gunbot in raspberry pi 4
« on: December 30, 2020, 02:49:03 PM »
Whats recommended Raspberry PI for the gunbot?
I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W, but with only 512MB of Ram I'd probably put it on the Pi4.
Are there any minimum requirement in terms of Raspberry PI Generation?

The Wiki states:

Supported platforms & recommended system specs
Gunbot runs from your own Windows, macOS, Linux or ARMv7 computer or server. You are free to run multiple instances across multiple platforms and devices.
CPU: 64-bit
Disk space: 10 GB free disk space
Network: stable broadband network connection

Technical Support & Development / Re: Chart shows everything but the price
« on: December 30, 2020, 02:45:32 PM »
I set the EMA to 0, I just want Gunbot to buy when the price falls below the LOW BB, and sell when it's over the HIGH BB.
But I think that Gunbot still puts in action a check to see if the trend is up or down, and won't sell or buy until it sees a reversal in the trend... which I don't want.

But how should Gunbot know how to calculate BB if you don't tell him what EMA to use...?

Yep, thank you, managed to work after stopping everything, and removed a pair that was giving problems.

You're welcome!

Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to set up pure BB strategy?
« on: December 23, 2020, 09:24:39 AM »
What if I don't want Gunbot to care about price trends, MA, EMA, and all that stuff?
I just want it to buy when the price goes below the BB minimum, and sell when it goes over the maximum.

You just use BB strat (but you do understand that BBands actually need stuff like MA to calculate the standard deviations and thus the BB so you'll always have to set the periods of moving averages you'd want to use for those calculations)...

I've got my strategy on mask, and when I change something it gets immediately reset to its initial values.
This happens every few seconds.
I can only write down values and save if I'm very quick.
What the hell?

Try "stopping" the bot before applying any changes (red stop trading button top right corner)....

Technical Support & Development / Re: Gunbot v20.4.5

Everything working after a PC restart!

Now one question: why I can't choose a pair that I want and there are pre-defined pairs available???

That depends on the pairs that are offered by the exchange you want to use...

Did you try to install the full 20.7.1 version (including node14) first...?

Beginners & Help / Re: Using different trailing ranges per DCA cap count?
« on: November 20, 2020, 10:51:27 AM »
I'll have to try the autoconfig sometime and see what it has in comparison. The previous post a year back that had done this was obviously running a pre-autoconfig version of the bot though exploring every options screen I can find it doesn't appear to be a thing. I was thinking this would require some more in-depth modifications to be made instead of using the standard settings menus. Given this hasn't received many views I'll probably have to go back to searching the forums in hope I can find that old post again to see how it's done.

Any help / advice from more experienced users would be great though. Thanks for your time everybody! /cheers. :)

Now that v20 has been released as stable the Wiki has been updated too and autoconfig has been properly documented:
