Hi,

I've been out of crypto trading with gunbot for some time, but now I'm back.
I'm still the owner of a Gunbot license (Poloniex API key)
Is there anyone who can help in checking/reactivating my license for the latest gunbot version, and invite me back into the closed telegram group?

I send a PM to Gunthy beginning of the month, but I assume he's very busy

I'm getting a lot of Error Code 429 today

it seems that running even 1 pair is giving issues...
I've the following in the config file:

BOT_SLEEP_DELAY: (1000)*120,

"node 1000trades" it does not seem to listen : it is not waiting 120 seconds
(I tried with 60 first, when that didn't work, increased to 120)

Technical Support & Development / node 1000trades, first "statuscode 500" then "TypeError: Cannot read proper..."

Hi,

this started just today (1000trades was running fine on about 15 pairs, until this morning)

After restarting the PC, when I tried 1 pair, the first time I get the statuscode 500

General Discussion / Multiple Strategies -> Multiple Exchange Accounts = Multiple Licenses?

Hi, I'm just wondering :

So it is advised to exercise 1 strategy per account, so if we want to use multiple strategies at the same time (for the same coin pairs) we would need to open multiple accounts. (Let's assume multiple accounts with the same exchange)
Now, every account of course has it's own API keys ... and the API key is tied to the license for the bot, does that mean we need to buy multiple licenses?

So if I wanted to try 1000trades and bollinger on the same 10 pairs, I would need to use 2 Poloniex accounts, and thus 2 API keys. I've one license, do I need to buy a 2nd license?

General Discussion / 1000trades config in gunbot v2.x = the new "Step-Gain" config in v3.x?

Hi,

until now, I've been using Gunbot v2.x (on windows),
and the 1000trades algo (using the basic 1000trades settings from here : https://gunthy.org/index.php?topic=44.0 )
the gunbox.exe to update the configurations
and a batchfile on the commandline to start my currency pairs  (e.g. "node 1000trades BTC_xxx")

Now with the new v3.x, the way I see the settings displayed, what used to be the setting for the 1000trades, is now the settings window for "step gain",
whereas the tab for the 1000trades settings, seems to be a simplified version

so where I used to run "node 1000trades BTC_xxx" in v2, do I now run "node stepgain BTC_xxx" or still "node 1000trades BTC_xxx" with the config files

the gunbot.exe is the GUI for supergun.exe: start gunbot.exe

Ok, I thought there was a difference between supergun and gunbot on how "the bot" behaves because of this (supergun vs 1000trades strategy):

As I'm a GBN (GunBotNewbie) I can come up with (= I have) a number of questions to start filling the FAQ, on some questions I think I've found the answer 
so here it goes (in random order).

- Q: Is there a command line option for the gunbot.exe (on the windows platform) to start gunbot with a list of currency pairs?
- Q: In the GUNBOT.EXE, when I load the config for a pair, and I start the gunbot for that pair, it seems to be working on a previous pair instead of the chosen pair
- - A: Always safe the pair before starting the gunbot. The gunbot process takes the config from config.js, which is updated only when you save the pair currently visible in the gunbot settings window.
- Q: What is the difference of running a currency pair with the same settings, with the gunbot.exe or supergun.exe

at the bottom of the FAQ, maybe a list of error codes and explanation?

- Q: What does this error code mean : statusCode 422
-- A: This is an error from Poloniex. You will see this error once in a while. As long as you don't see this error continuously, it will not interfere with the bot's activity. If you see this error the first time you run gunbot, it may be a problem with your API key
- Q: What does this error code mean : statusCode 403
-- A: This may indicate a problem with the Poloniex API system, the API system may be overloaded, or the API key you are using is not authorized, or you are using an incorrect secret
