Hey,

I started using GunBot just before the crash earlier in the year.  I am down about 50% on my original investment (using Binance exchange).

Since values are way below what I bought for, GunBot has effectively ceased trading, presumably waiting for prices to rise up to at least the point of my original trades.

Any advice on what I should do?

Do I just hold out and do no trading for the time being in the hope that prices will eventually reach their previous levels?

Or is it worth "resetting" GunBot so that it forgets the previous pre-crash coin values, and starts afresh trading based on the current market fluctuations with my current coins bags, in the hope that some profits can be made now?

Any advice would be gratefully received :)

Beginners & Help / New installation - Gunbot not placing any trades
« on: January 02, 2018, 01:49:12 PM »
Happy New Year, guys.

I have been running the Gunbot for the last couple of days, and have set up a number of crypto pairs to trade on Binance. The Binance API is all set up.

For the first 12 hours or so, I had the pairs set up to use the 'stepgain' strategy, but not a single trade was placed by the bot during the 12 hour period.

So, I changed all the strategies to 'emotionless', and slowly but surely, gunbot started placing buy/sell orders, although it made a small loss of the period of the trades.

So, this told me that the bot was working, and that the Binance API was all set up correctly.

I then changed all the strategies to 'bb'.  And again, in the 12 hours that it's been running not a single order has been placed.

The gunbot log screen on the server doesn't indicate that there is any issue.

Am I missing something?

I am using all the default values for the strategies.

Is there something I should be checking/tweaking?

Any advice gratefully received. :)

FYI, I have only about 300 USD on Binance to start with, to get my feet wet (see attached screenshot).  Could it be it needs more available funds to trade with?
