A friend of mine has been thinking about opening a small airsoft shop, and we've been discussing how difficult it might be to compete with established retailers. One thing that surprised us was how much planning goes into choosing inventory, finding reliable wholesale suppliers, and keeping popular products in stock. He's considering starting with accessories and tactical gear before expanding into more expensive equipment. For anyone who's worked in airsoft retail, what would you say is the biggest challenge when getting started?
