My Model 3 spends most of its time outside, and I'm considering getting a fitted cover mainly for protection from UV, rain, dust, tree sap, and bird droppings. For Tesla owners who regularly use one, has it noticeably helped keep the paint in better condition, or does putting a cover on and taking it off every day become more trouble than it's worth?

Using a cover daily can feel like a chore, but I’ve found that a good one pays off fast. For my car, I go with a Model 3 car cover that's soft on the paint (https://www.carcover.com/car-covers/tesla/model-3), and it slides on easily without scratching. The protection from sap and bird droppings alone saves me from frequent washes, so the few seconds of setup are worth it every time.
