Title: too many pairs slow down bot?

does having too many pairs potentially make you miss trades because its working through so many?

It depends a bit on your exchange. Kraken starts crapping out long before you get to your API call limit. On others the number of your API calls might get you in trouble long before the bot slows down.

Can you not just add multiple API's to mitigate this issue?

it might not help at all. Kraken is now a little better than it was, so I don't feel it being much of an issue for ma anymore.

well, how many is too many ;)

I do run max 11 pairs on bittrex, no GUI but CMD and i think, one cycle takes long, so i can miss good opportunities ...

i recommend 5-6 pairs tho...

strange. I run two bots, one with over 20 pairs on bittrex, which is still much faster than kraken bot with 7 ...
