Title: Complete noob unsure if bot is working
Post by: KaiFang on January 11, 2018, 04:03:54 AM
Hello all,

I purchased the bot not too long ago and have been reading the WIKI on how to set up the bot with strategies. I have been using using emotionless strategy (untouched) for the past two days and the bot hasn't bought or sold anything.

When I tried bbstepgain (same values from the wiki instructions) in a sideways market and it hasn't done anything either. In the logs I am getting this constantly, I am unsure if this means if I did something to prevent the bot from purchasing.

I am unsure if I am not putting in the correct values or if I messed something up technically but any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

if it's not a safety switch issue (or the "binance bug". you don't say on which exchange you are running the bot, on binance there is apparently a bug in buying), then just your coins have not met the buying parameters set in your strategy. I found out  emotionless does not "work" for me, ie. too slow in buying.

Oh I did not know there was a Binance bug currently. I am using Binance. Is there any way to get around this?

many people report having trouble on binance. some are saying that making a manual buy of each pair in the setup gets things started.
