Title: How do I load up pairs to an exchange? How do I stop Gunbot from trading?
Post by: pepperbot on January 01, 2018, 02:12:08 PM
Say I want to trade XRP/BTC. Do I need to have an amount of each coin, or only one of them?

Also, I have a desktop on its way to me but would like to run the bot on emotionless in the meantime. How do I stop running gunbot completely other than exiting the app. By that, I mean have it conclude all its transactions until I am able to run it on the new computer.

Gunbot uses the syntax BASECOIN-MARKETCOIN.
So to trade the pair BTC-XRP, you will need to have some BTC in order to buy some XRP. So to answer your question directly, no, you only need to have an amount of BASECOIN.

So I need to have the basecoin. Got it. Just another question.. What's good practice in determining what to set as the basecoin and the marketcoin? What are the indicators one looks for? Thanks!

trade volume and volatility. I already answered that, didn't I? On my first answer in your other topic. Now stop littering the forum if you can't be bothered to read the answers.
