Title: Bot seems to buy well above BB restrictions
Post by: TenaciousJ on September 06, 2017, 05:08:44 AM: I'm running 3.3.2 on bittrex, and for some reason I've noticed a few buys that are made well above what the BB 50,2 bands on tradingview look like it should be (like above the middle band at times). My BB settings are 25 low and 25 high on this particular pair, and my EMA is set to 1% below the average for buys. What could be causing the bot to buy at such a high price compared to other charts with the same 15 minute time frame and BB settings? I know Gunbot uses its own algorithm to calculate bands, but that seems a bit risky as it might lead to getting stuck with bags of coins on the high end of the price range.

My EMA settings are at default .02 and .04.

Post by: Motobruin on September 08, 2017, 06:25:32 AM: HELP! I'm sometimes seeing the same issue. I use a 200-day BB on Bittrex and the bot just bought some ADX well above the 25% low BB setting I have. See attached annotated screenshots.

I think that may be an issue with v4.0.5. Not the same as v3.3.2

I'm not sure your BB graph is correct. What period you set up? Try with period 15 it's kinda what GB bb graph is.
