took your advice and turned off the Take buy and take profit, just left BB with trailme for buying which i think is the same as bb with tssl.

and for selling i'm using Gain with a fixed 0.5% also with trailme also like a gain with tssl right?

but the setting i dont understand is the lowBB in the indicator settings

1 - Low BB set to 0 = entry point 157.37193000 PAX
2 - Low BB set to -10 = entry point 156.94266000 PAX

The setting is not being ignored as I initially though but is not what i understood from the wiki

"When set to 0, the lower Bollinger Band is the target. When set to 30, the target is 30% above the lower Bollinger Band - the upper band is at 100% from the lower band. Negative values are allowed."

so if i'm not wrong if i set the value to -10 the target would be 10% under the "Low bb" but i dont see how 0.42927 PAX would be 10% of 157 PAX, may be is not 10% of the price??? what i am missing here?

im using Bolinger Bands, I would like to enter to buy cycle at a percentage under the lowBB, after lowerig the lowBB setings in the "indicators" tab to -1 from 0, doesn't affect the entry point shown in my gunbot console.

im doing something wrong? lacking a setting? or does the entry point work in some weird way?

im using TrailMe and Take Buy btw.

Apparently you were right i didn't had that setting it was empty i thought default would be 0, after setting the fee to 0.1 and setting gain to -0.1 the exit still slightly higher i believe is because the double fee entry+exit i think that was it.

lowerd the gain from 0.1 to 0% and the exit went from 135.4 to 136.1 may someone explain me whats goin on? this bug or missunderstanding is costing me money already.

BTW using bb to buy and Gain to sell.

wanted to close a bad position so i set gain to 0.1% but the exit still the same as it was when the gain was at 0.5% what the fuck???

also the version 18.3.9 labels as 18.3.8 in the console.

almost all the issued were solved, the bottle neck in the pi was memory related,

1 Runing raspbian lite with no desktop, solved the memory issues no more hangs.
2 The reason for the bot trying to buy under the exchange minimun trade was fixed by setting:

Integer numbers since im trading USD pair. small amounts because im just testing the bot 1st.

only 2 pending issues are:

1 Telegram messages not delivering
2 GUI had to be disabled now i have more memory i could try it again to check if that was also memory related.

UPDATE STILL NOT BUYING.

just installed a raspbian lite image in my pi, left it headless also ran gunbot headless, using the screen tool allowing me to control gunbot from ssh, and so far no more hangs no it runs smooth 100% of the time.

leaving this comments in case someone else wants to run gunbot in a raspberry.

i think i tracked the bottle neck, ran this command "free -h -s 1" which post the available memory in the system and it appears that the hangs are memory related since the free memory sometimes goes to 0, pi2 is only 1GB ram which is 1 GB less than the RAM required in the gunbot wiki.

Be sure you don’t have pairs with very small funds. For example, if you have 0.000024 ETH, the pair BTC-ETH won’t make any trade. Why? Because the amount is so small that it doesn’t reach to the minimum tradeable amount. So the bot will try to sell it and it won’t be allowed by the exchange. On the other hand, it won’t buy until it sells the amount, so it gets into an endless loop. Conclusion: get rid of the dust!!

I think this may be causing the issue, ill clean the dust then ill report back if solved.

but checking my binance history i don't see any past order also why is it buying such small amount

also the telegram messages are not being delivering is there any way to test if the telegram settings are correct a button to send a test msg or something?

Checking the wiki i see this:

BUY_LEVEL
Values: numerical – represent a percentage.

This sets the starting point for buy trailing at a percentage below the lowest EMA.
When you set this to 1, trailing for a buy order starts when price reaches a point 1% below the lowest EMA.

Those EMA are the ones, configured in the indicator settings right?
