I started customizing my wallet for projects with a large turnover. I started to think about security, especially after a friend had his tokens stolen. Is there any sense to order crypto wallet audit services? Or is it overkill if the wallet is not custom?

If you are planning to work with large sums of money or integrate smart contracts, an audit really doesn't hurt. Everything looks safe, but the little things can cost you a lot. Here you can read how it works in general and why you need crypto wallet audit services - https://pharosproduction.com/wallet-audit

I had my wallet audited a while back after reading some scary stories about stolen funds, and honestly, it gave me a lot more peace of mind. Even if your wallet isn’t 100% custom, vulnerabilities can pop up from things you’d never expect, especially when you start using it for bigger projects or integrating new tokens. An extra set of eyes from professionals just to catch anything weird can save you a lot of pain later on. I actually ended up looking deeper into tools around trading and security after that. For example, I was researching ways to build up token activity and stumbled onto a guide about the pumpswap volume bot, which showed me how important proper wallet setup and safeguards are when interacting with DEX tools.

MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Ledger are my best choices.
