BTC Surge Protection
« on: December 03, 2017, 12:42:52 PM »
Hi, new poster

I have 6.0.2 downloaded and was pleased to see the new BTC surge protection built in.

I am using BBRSISTEPGAIN

I left it at the default settings as I presumed they would be tuned in pretty well to protect and I wasn't sure of the impact of changing it from35.

Today at 11am GMT btc had a $500 surge and gb starts scooping up coins all over the place thinking they are oversold due to the inbalance between that coin and BTC.  Because these coins were not truly oversold and just dropped in value compared to BTC, they didnt bounce like an oversold asset usually does and I am now holding lots of bags that I can sell for roughly what I had before in $ but less in btc.  How do I dial this in to stop that happening again as my main goal is accumalate BTC

Thanks

same here, i lost a lot lately  >:(

that MFI value is not a good indicator may be and the user must be able select the conditions of OKKIES_MODE, since both oversold and overbought states are bad for alts.
