Hello,

here is another small suggestion.......

i try to discribe it........

if you trade (for example) only this pairs
USD/BTC
USD/XMR
USD/DASH
and so on

it logical make more sense, to say gunbot, it should buy cryptos for (example) 10$ (every trade)

the major-currency is USD !

but ! if you trade this on one account (for example):

BTC/Cryptos = BTC/ETH, BTC/XMR, BTC/LTC and so on
USD/BTC
EUR/BTC
JPY/BTC
GBP/BTC
and so on...

you theoretical have more major-currencies.....

but practical you only have BTC-balance and you want to get you profit in btc, too.......

the thing ist you need to set a BTC-value as "balance per trade/pair" for all the BTC/Crypto pairs.......
and you need to setup an fiat-value for every! fiatpair.....
but the price is changing and you want use BTC as reference....

in this case, it where be fine, if you can tell gunbot "my majorcurrencie" is BTC and i want to trade with 0,1BTC for every trade.....

so that gunbot sell 0,1BTC for USD( or EUR or GBP or JPY and so), if the price is high and buy BTC für the fiat-balance, if the price is low.....

and if you start that the first time, the fiatbalance in the console is "NaN".......
maybe it is possible, that gunbot in future can handle it on his own !?

if it would log at a fix time, that where great, but not importend......

do anybody know that or is it hard to program ?

but for example i dont split the balance throught the amount of pairs.......

i use for example 100 pairs, then i split the balance trought 30-50 pairs (;

becouse if you split the balance through the amount of the pairs, you mostly have balance, that are not in trades, becouse they is not ever an potential tradepossibility (;

if you want to take the maximum out of gunbot, i think, the best way, is to have the max. balance in aktive trades, not bags ^^ or waiting for a trade

know i have try the nightvision gui the first time on win10 !
and it looks amazing !
but i sadly still use gunbot via batch, becouse sometimes the gui or what ever make errors and everything crah..... (i use much pairs and it takes much time, to restart all (

i have the first time try out the multi-desktop-feature.....

i test gunbot an all three exchanges with each 2 account .....

so i have 6 accounts..... (with all together around 400 pairs ^^)

but how ever.....

maybe in the new version (gui) it where fine, if you can seperate the pairs for each account and if you can add a second accound for an exchange.........

thats only a short idea.....
its not very importend and atm i have no really idea how to do that........

but i want to run gunbot for "earning money"...... (year we all do that)
but i want to payout X every month......

a feature, that i can tell gunbot, "i want to payout xxxusd or xxxbtc or what ever" on this day or in x days or whatever.....

so that gunbot trade with the hole balance, and if i want to payout, than gunbot keep xxxusd/xxxbtc free.....

but i thing thats really "tricky", becouse gunbot dont can see in the future and know how long a trade is open and i trade on different accounts......
if the btc price is low then its better, to payout from the usd/?? or usdt/?? account.....
if the btc price is high, than its better to payout from the btc/?? account and so on......

maybe somebody have an great idea, to handle/manage this !? ......

maybe gunbot can use macd as a signal for switching the configfile.......

maybe another way to "handle" bags is, to use the macd in an upper timeframe for trenddetection ?

so that gunbot onlybuy, if there macd-value not to high or shows an uptrend........
or if the macs signals an downtrend, then gunbot place a order for this trade/bag and wait till the macd value is lower, for a new buy...

thats not direct to the topic, but a little bit (;

atm i run the same pairs on different account......

onetime with stepgain and one time with bb.........

both are amazing ! and till now the profit is near simular......

but the trades are different.......

maybe its possible to combinate both or i think if it possible to change the "trailing value for buy/sell", then gunbot with bb is unbeatable.......
becouse you can set the bb% to 40-50% or so on...... for each pair.........
and gunbot follows the price and if the price turns a little, it wait and keep following......if the price turns to much, it buy/sell.....

at the beginn, i was not so satisfied about gunbot........
but then gunther released a new version and i was suprised (: .......
atm i think gunbut is amazing (if they dont be the bags (; ).......
but if you add this features, i think gunbot is unstoppable = money printing maschiene = the best robot at the market with much distance (;

i have look at some robots and so on......
ok haasbot have (to) much settings and so on, but it is more expansive and you need to pay per month......

with this changes
gunbot have only a few settings, but enough to change much (: .........
than gunbot can handle bags on its own and maybe via the trailing system it can make more profits......
and we not longer need the poor exports from the exchanges, becouse gunbot can make an very complex log for all exchanges together (if you use gunbot at more exchanges at the same time)......
so that it is easier to search for the right settings or to print something for the taxoffice (if you like (; )

and gunbot can do its job alone on a vps and if it need you "help", then it can email you ^^
maybe it can email a smart status report (balance, profit in %, amount of trades) every day........

i think the export feature is fine, but no longer importend, becouse they are some good websites, like cointracking or so on (;

yes ! i agree , too

i had already suggest this idea in a past threat...... but dont can find it atm.......

if i had understand it right, than gunbot already trails, but only till the pricedirection changes......

if there where a (user configurable) "buffer", i thing than there is a possibility for gunbot, to make much more profit (;

buffer means, the same like a trailing stop.......

not close the trade direct after it change the direction. it means wait X% and if the price falls x% then close the trade, otherwise wait and trail ^^

and the same for buying please !

hello together !

when the new version is released and everything is prepared and tested,
i want to start a "contest" to find the best settings/exchanges

.....

my rough plan is:

i want to run gunbot (with same balance)........

on poloniex on two accounts
1. BTC/? (BB) - around 50 Pairs
2. USDT/? (Stepgain) - around 10 pairs

on kraken on two accounts
1. BTC/cryptos (BB) - around pairs - around 5 pairs
BTC/Fiats without USD (Stepgain) - around 3 pairs
2. USD/? (Stepgain) - around 10 pairs

and two accounts on bitrex ......
1. BTC/cryptos (BB) - not shure how much, but much as possible ^^
2. ETH/cryptos maybe BB, too) - not shure how much, but much as possible ^^

BB means bollinger band with this settings
LOW_BB: 30,
HIGH_BB: 30,
BUY_LEVEL: 3,
GAIN: 2.5,
SECURITY_MARGIN: 30,

and step gain means (a mix of cryptonauts serial killer and gunthas supergun):
BUYLVL1: 0.6,
BUYLVL2: 2,
BUYLVL3: 10,
SELLLVL1: 2,
SELLLVL2: 4,
SELLLVL3: 40,
SECURITY_MARGIN: 60,

i choose this settings, becouse i think, that are good for the most pairs........
and i want to use step gain, for the fiat pairs, becouse, they (normaly) go more up, compared to the BTC/crypto pairs.....

i want to split the balance throght the half of the pairs (balance for each pair)..... so that the most time a maximum of the balance is at work (in trades).

i want try to note the balance (of each account) every day (at the same time) and calculate the daily profit....... for 3-4weeks....
and so the balance is not really importend, becouse the interesting thing is the profit (%) and the profit (%) for the hole time

....

have anybody an idea or suggestion for better settings or something else to make better ?

is anybody interested, to support me ?
maybe do the same, but with other settings - to compare ?
(but that only really make sense, if we start only with the majorcurrency on the account and at the same time)

i dont know wich new functions do the new version have, but i will handle bags in this way.....
wait three days and then set an order via hand....

that are not really importend things, but maybe it help or make some easier or give a better overview (;

you can set the max balance to trade for each pair and you can set it for all.........

maybe in the gui it where a little bit better if you can change between a "global" value and a pair-value......

maybe this is a solution ?:
you can set an global value in the "all pairs config"......
and in the gui you can write a value or you can write "global".....
and in the settingfile for the pairs is a variable for global: yes or no.........

i thing the most time, the most of us trade all pairs with one value, or not ? and maybe adjust the value after a time (for all)......

but maybe sometimes you want to try out one or two pairs with an other value !? or you have 2-3 "special" pairs with an other majorcurrency...........

and the same for the security margin (;

another addition where, that you can choose between "pair-value", "global" and "auto".......

but "auto" is a little bit complex, becouse you need a rule, for example "gunbot should every Y (day, week, month), split the balance throught X (X= amount of pairs, or amount of pairs/2 or a value) - thats means (auto) reinvest the profit (; .......
but i thing every hour or every day is a little bit "silly" becouse the balance dont only go up, they are some days where the balance wanes and on the next day it grows and so on......
so i guess every 1-2-3-4 weeks should be ok.........

2.

another thing is the "total profit BTC" value in the console ........
if you trade with eth or xmr or usd as majorcurrency, they is still shown "total profit BTC" but with the value of the majorcurrency......

my suggestion is,
only show the profit as the majorcurrency (only delete the "BTC" after "total profit") ^^
........and maybe log it (for each trade) (:

i think gunbot can much better log things, like the poor polo-export (:

and another thing is the window, if you start a pair........

they is a window/box in the forground (repeat or cancle).......

is it possible to do that, without this window or in the background ?

for example if you start 50 pairs and want to make other work on you computer, it take a while and it is boring ^^

maybe it where fine, if gunbot save the apikeys in a dropbox (and fix it to the secretkey ....and the market) ?

so you easy can choose it, if you add a new pair

maybe a dropbox for the pairs where fine, too.....
maybe two dropboxes for each currency or one for the pais.

maybe you can arrange the things a little bit other.....

i like the feature to save and load configs, becouse so you can save two different configs, if you want........
and i like it, if you click on one pair (on the right side) that gunbot automatical show the settings and the console for this pair......

but maybe you can put the things on the right side together ?

you have above the pair and can click on it and below, too.....

maybe it looks a little better, if you put the start, stop, load and save things complete up or down and only one thing to click for the pair......
and i case of the exchange maybe another colour (or only a short form like P for polonie, K for Kraken and B for Bitrex) to save place ?
