General Discussion / 3.3.6 or 7 suggestion ... :P
« on: August 07, 2017, 01:12:14 PM »
I've just have an idea few minutes ago while looking at Bittrex markets. There are two crypto references.

What if GB can constantly look at the BTC - ETH and consequently buy in BTC or ETH as the reference crypto and sell in the other ?
ex : buy BTC_DASH and if the Ethereum goes up, sell in ETH_DASH

Hello,
I've bought GB a few days ago and make a lot of tests.
I begin by installing a windows version on a virtual machine for learning the bases with the GUI and quickly, i move GB on my debian server.

On this one, i've tested all versions from 3.3.2 to 3.3.5
3.3.2 works pretty well, some strange errors with /snapshots/Users/Enrico in it, but it seems to work.

My tests made some bags and i decided to test 3.3.5 to get rid of them (with the correct BTC_XYZ -> BTC-XYZ) https://gunthy.org/index.php?topic=740.0.
First i was very impressed with the rapidity of this version !
Few minutes after i launch 3.3.5 (BB 60/40, B0.1/S0.6, double_up) , it bought some crypto to make the double up and try to sell with profit. One buy and resell ok, cool :D , but on another crypto, one buy, two, three ... up to seven buy (it was on Verium) and no sell. All my capital went in this bag.
So I stop this crypto and make a forced sell with no profit (little) to get my capital back and make new trade. But hours later, 0 trade engaged ...
(BB 40/40, B0.1/S0.6, no double_up).
After reading some topics on 3.3.5 on this forum from customers seems to have the same problem. Fine, 3.3.5 is pretty young, i tried the 3.3.4 version ...

3.3.4 is quick and print some tables for each crypto, but no orders, and no infos on price to buy/sell in the table. Fine I'll try the 3.3.3 ...  ???

3.3.3 is quick and print some tables ... with data in it ! ;D but hours later, no order (buy or sell).  :o

Ok, i'll go back to 3.3.2, much slower but at least, it make some orders.
I organized 12 pairs in a divided tmux so i can quickly view all the process. It was 2 days ago and it makes its job but i can't put off my head that 3.3.5 (if it makes other orders than double_up) has a much bigger potential !

So, does anyone have info on specific 3.3.5 config/bug with bittrex ?
Is a 3.3.6 will correct this soon ?
