Is there an easy way to run the bot on historical data for each coin? I think some exchanges (binance allow you to download the candlestick data) could I then run the bot with my config and test it?

Some exchanges allow to run separated reports for each coin. If you want to get automatic reports of your results for any period of time, including reports separated by coin, % of profit, net profit, profit converted to fiat etc... Crypto Sight is a good choice:
