I didn't know that! Thank you very much

Hello to everybody.
Just a question that came today to my mind.
Is it possible for Gunbot to do something like "pyramid buying" with buy orders?
I mean, is it possible to fire a new buy order independently of what happened to the last buy order ?  (ignore if after last buy, was a sell order)
(Of course I do not speak here about the TV pluggin).

Thank you
Nick

Very interesting! I created simple arbitrage bots in betfair in the past with BetAngel and, yes, it can work well if the bot works really fast (the ping is very important too).
How many gunthy tokens will be needed to buy bitRage?

That's nice! Thank you for your reply!
The problem is that I bought Gunbot from Neoalpha02 but he is inactive here from year 2017... I sent him a message, but no reply.
Should I contact Gunthar directly?

Hello, it is since about 2 years that I own Gunbot.
Today I updated Gunbot to version 12.8.9 and using the article here : https://gunbot.shop/gunthy-coin-all-you-need-to-know/ I created a token address.

I imported the token address in my Gunbot, but after some minutes it stopped working.

I just checked Gunbot and it says "Your balance is 0"

What is the problem here?

I have the same problem as I stated here : https://gunthy.org/forum/index.php/topic,2586.msg11569.html#msg11569 (Windows 10) and I cannot find any solution.
I also tried what is written here, with nos success: https://gunbot.shop/error-response-code-400-on-binance-how-to-fix/
I didn't have problems with previous versions of the software.

Here is what I finally get when I run gunthy.exe :

Loading exchange - poloniex
(node:1028) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection (rejection id: 1): Error: unable to verify the first certificate
(node:1028) [DEP0018] DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.

Any ideas?

I tried to do a clean install of v7.0.2 (from the .zip file) but gunthy-gui does not seem to launch correctly.
When I run it, the screen opens and it immediately closes. It is impossible to read the screen and there are no logs!
I opened in and out port 5000 as proposed, I turned off the antivirus, but no luck! Checking the task manager, no instance of the program runs!!
I had no issues with previous versions
Any ideas?
I have windows 10.

Forget Sjakil's GUI!  ;)
If there are a lot of instances of coins running, does this influences the way gunbot "creates" the BBs of each coin?

Excellent post!
What happens if we have a lot of pairs running in the same time in Sjakil's GUI ?? Should the number of pairs influence the "(interval_ticker_update/1000)" part of the equation??
If I have 10 pairs running in the same time should 720 became 72?

I will try it now!
I see that tradingview integration is possible!! That's awesome!!!

Beginners & Help / Re: EMA 1 and EMA 2 for Poloniex

It's exact! BB (Bollinger Bands) pure strategy does not work here without applying EMA1 & EMA2.

As noted in other threads, normally Bollinger Bands should not use EMA1 & EMA2, but it should be based on SMA which is a completely different thing...

Beginners & Help / Re: GB Bollinger band settings on Bittrex/Tradinview?
« on: September 05, 2017, 11:12:52 PM »
I tried to play with settings like period_storage_ticker, interval_ticker_update, period (EMA has NOTHING to do with Bollinger Bands) etc and -as it was said before- the result is always the same: Gunbot does not see Bollinger Bands correctly.

But, after some research, I made the following observation: If you chose 15´ candlesticks on the graph, Gunbot does not see correctly the Bollinger Bands.
But when you try to select 2h or 4h candlesticks on the graph then Gunbot sees Bollinger Bands correctly!

Here in the photos, I added the strategy BB-StepGain, where the green line corresponds to 0% (low) Bollinger Band as Gunbot sees it (and the red one is sell for stepgain).
In the first photo (15´ candlesticks on the graph) the green line appears very low and it is wrong.
But, if you select 4h candlesticks on the graph, then Gunbot sees it correctly! I tried it with a lot of pairs.

If I am right, the fix of this issue if far more simple than I thought before. (apparently adapt the code of the GunBot so that when you choose a period of 15´ in the bot settings, the bot should see Bollinger Bands based on the 15´candlesticks on the graph and not on the 4h candlesticks as it is happening actually).

+1 from me

I think it's important to know what exactly the bot is seeing, so that we can adapt accordingly our strategies

Beginners & Help / EMA 1 and EMA 2 for Poloniex
« on: August 31, 2017, 11:22:50 PM »
Hello,

I have the latest version 4.0.5 (Windows) and I really need some help about EMA 1 & EMA 2 values that we should enter for Poloniex! I searched a lot (check in the image) and found values like 0.04 & 0.02, 2 & 4, 200 & 50 !! Which are correct?

When applying a pure BB strategy do we really need EMA 1 & EMA 2 for the bot to function? I say that because when we create BB we need first to Middle Band = 20-day simple moving average (SMA). SMA is not exactly the same as EMA 1 & EMA 2. I am also a little bit confused about that...

thanX in advance
Nick
