Beginners & Help / AWS VPS setup almost there but not quite...
« on: August 04, 2017, 03:33:34 PM »
I know a few people in here have used AWS free VPS before so would like some advice.

I've more than half set it up- I created my EC2 t2 instance/virtual machine with keys etc but can't figure out why I can't move my GB files onto the instance?

Okay here's another thing I'm not clear about. So I've read about what that the different strategy settings do. However I'm not clear about the strats in relation to each other when doing a mixed setting-

Let's say I was to use a buy strat of GAIN and sell strat of STEPGAIN and set both LOW_BB and HIGH_BB to 50, obviously GAIN/STEPGAIN take precedence, but does this mean BB levels are deferring to and working within the GAIN/STEPGAIN with the 50 settings I put in? Or because buy sell is not set to BB the BB settings are basically turned off?

Can someone explain how sell level is implemented...  I understand how buy level 1,2,3 would work but sell level is a different matter. For example if a coin pair was already sold at price level 1, how does it progress onto sell level 2,3, or how does it select what proportion of a pair is sold?

Does the bot hold some coins for level 2 and 3 e.g. or does it wait to see if it will reach level 1,2, or 3 before selling?

Thanks- there's nothing in the release notes of the announcement of 3.3.3 that says allpairs would be made obsolete- would be useful if we were told each time which things are made obselete or not!!

Simple question- yes or no!
allpairs-params.js not exist on v.3.3.3 and v3.3.4

All parameters are on only one file : config.js

Okay thanks. And so everything that was in an allpairs-params.js file can be copied across and work as normal in the new config.js?

the "strategies" paragraph present in config.js is the new equivalent of ALLPAIRS-params.js
