Upon closing the web browser GUI the cmd window (it's empty) keeps popping up. No way to close it other than restart computer. As soon as I close one another pops out. What am I doing wrong?

I can't seem to expose Gunthy UI outside of VPS (port 5000, 5001 have been added to firewall). It looks like Gunthy UI only allows connection from http://localhost:5000. Is there a way to change the listening address?

Back after downloading. I like the web interface. But it still crazy and chaotical to setup. In order to be sure you will not "fuck up" all your funds and become broke quickly then say "jumping quick fox"

Is the same product. A new upgrade. Finally a much more stable version. Software speaking. Now with trading its up to anyone who will chose the strategies. I found the guide very extensive. Now yes this is a product that I've paid for in the past. :)
Not expecting anything eXtreme . But it is stable.

I run gunthy-gui.exe and a cmd window opens. I then use my browser to access the GUI. Everything l;ooks fine. I have it running in watch mode with buy disabled just in case (been burned with previous releases of gunthy so I'll wait a day or 2 for reports to come in of bugs). When I start the bot a second CMD window opens with nothing in it. Is that to be expected?

what do you mean? one exchange license is 0.05 BTC, it's 50% cheaper than legacy editions were. it's even cheaper than most second hand licenses were. legacy licenses were 0.1 BTC minus a discount, if you were offered one. I wasn't with my reseller ('twas narkotix).

So I bought a licence about 4 weeks ago. I am running it on a Contabo Linux VPS without a GUI or console, I just check trades history on Poloniex and logs on the VPS. Is there a discount price for current owners?

I think it is .05 btc for the bot and .05 btc for the exchange. This allows for people to purchase different exchanges without paying full price.

Sure, people in the past paid 0.1 BTC and new users half of that. But I bought my license in July and since then Bitcoin has risen three times in value. Considering I still need to pay my rent and other costs in fiat, I bought Gunbot cheaper than I would now.

You bought Gunbot and 1 exchange for .1 btc. It is now for sale as GB and GUI cost .05 btc and then an addition .05 btc for which ever exchange you choose. Right? Same price as you paid in BTC just not fiat. I could be reading it wrong but that is what I think is happening.

no you did not. it cost you exactly the same. we don't deal in fiat here. only for adding exchanges-markets it has gotten a lot cheaper. Instead of buying a second hand bot for 0.6 or more - plus all fees and escrow, just buy another market license for 0.5 new or whatever it will be second hand. that is a lot cheaper than in the early days, even in crypto.

Hmm ... Promised not to reduce the price. Said the bot is an investment. And you kill earnings with multiple cloning.

I think I found what I did wrong. If you stop the bot in the GUI with the stop button (not just close the window) everything is fine. If you forget this, mulitple cmd windows keep popping up. So, stop the bot if you need to, with the GUI button.

No - but AFAIK - 0.05 is for the engine, "the core", then you pay 0.05 per exchange, meaning 0.1 for a full bot on 1 market place.
On the other hand, as BTC drops down, and Gunthar didn't bother to sell at USD price equivalent, for example, now the licence is FAR cheaper than a few days ago... ;-)

Capt_Crunchy: Did you ever get a resolution to this? I think I'm having a similar issue but the second CMD window flashes on/off repeatedly.

mine always fires up 2 cmd windows, regardless if ran in console mode or on the GUI.

@tomnuen - Did you ever resolve this? I seem to have the same issue on my home server. I have opened ports 3000,5000-5001 on the firewall and the setup the port redirection on the router, yet I can only access GB XT from local network, not from internet.

I am having an issue after I start the bot multiple Windows package/guntly.exe command window pup up and I need to restart the computer to clear up. I think the Gunbot is not connecting to the Gunthy server.
Any advice?

I am trying to edit setup and add a new pair in the setup page. The exchange drop down is greyed out. Any suggestions? Only started happening when I upgraded to 7.0.1 from 6.0.2
