Title: multiple base and pair settings
Post by: bennett120w on June 30, 2020, 05:28:27 PM
I was just looking for some guidance re the multiple base setting,

Lets say I want to trade these pairs

USDT-BTC
USDT-LTC
BTC-LTC
USDT-ETH
BTC-ETH

Now from what I read in the wiki I should have the "multiple base" setting enabled because of using BTC as a base coin and also trading it with USDT at the same time.

But what about the others? When set up like this it seems the first base coin to buy the quote (LTC or ETH in this case) works but then it locks up the other version with a "could not get a bought price" error. Ect - BTC-LTC makes a buy -- now USDT-LTC immedately stops trading with a "could not get a bought price" error.

Using the most up to date version.

Thanks in advance

I just set up separate strategies for my USDT pairs. Seems to work OK.

Hi, what you can use with multiple_base:

BTC-AAA
BTC-BBB
BTC-CCC

ETH-DDD
ETH-EEE

USDT-FFF

BNB-GGG

But try to avoid using same quote for different base coins, for example:

ETH-AAA
BTC-AAA

Hope this helps.
