Yield in version 3.3.2 vs newest 4.x
« on: September 06, 2017, 01:36:48 AM »
Hi all,

Do you see an improvement in returns when using the new 4.x versions of GB?

Cheers

Tthe answer might be a bit hard to get. You see, I don't think there is a user using 2 versions simultaneously on the same exchange and on the same pairs/settings to confirm this.

Good point.

I don't know of any user running two bots: one v3.3.2 and one v.4.0.5.  They'd have to be the same exchange, on the same pairs, at the exact same time (via two APIs in two different accounts).

Could be a cool test.

I could add an observation though, having run both versions. It might be just me, but I have the feeling 4.0.5. is much quicker.

I think OP was asking about people who have transitioned from 3.x to 4.x

All good points, and I guess I was looking for experience from people who transitioned. But then again it's hard to compare.

At the moment it's a safer bet though to go with 3.3.2, right? Regarding stability. And esp. as a beginner.

Cheers

v3.3.3 thru v4.0.x are easier to use in terms of setup (much better config.js) but cannot confirm if these versions work "just as well" as 3.3.2 in terms of profits

V3 = bag producer
V4 = bag reducer
V5 will be the all singing, all dancing one. ;-)

Please could you elaborate? I'm holding a good few bags (markets being what it is), being a noob how does the new version deal with big dumps?
