You're welcome dear train engine!

It's normal, you can't keep a part of your pair: it sells everything.
Trading limit is for buying.
It's designed like this.

It's the 4th week since it was announced "Saturday", I think  :'(

Version?

You should read Help & Beginners thread, and a million of posts :-(

1) Don't put the same overrides everywhere, put the correct values in the BB strategy config

2) Set double_up to False, it's very risky

3) BOT_DELAY is maybe too short for polo... I'd put 10 or 20.

4) buy_level 2 is OK, try 1 if you can't buy.

5) Your gain of 2% is optimistic.

And of course, v5.x is buggy, only v3.3.2 is stable - while all of them are written "pre-release" on Github.
https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/Gunthy/releases

We have no news from a version that was announced to Saturday, that was 4 weeks ago?

Instead of reselling licence, please who all who have problems ask for a stable and reliable corrected version WITH a single documentation assembled somewhere, instead of a collection of "documented" changes everywhere...

After adding your API and secret keys, did you hit Save?

At this point, it's just baby-sitting ;D

There should be a bot licence, like a driving licence; one shouldn't be allowed to play with such hazardous software without a minimalistic knowledge and understanding, and capacity to search and find information.
I don't know, just saying this...

Hi both-

Did you search for AWS or VPS in those forums?
Did you check the Help & Beginners section?
Did you read version-dependant instructions/hints here:
https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/releases

That may help you - good luck!

Yes, it's probably a bug.
Post it here (with some info), or not.

For this time, I won't open my mouth.

Have a good day/night Aleks!

Beginners & Help / Re: Gunbot does not buy with sufficient USDT balance
« on: October 22, 2017, 01:02:57 PM »
I searched a bit and found in Gunthar post : "The PINGPONG section is interesting too: if you see a coin doing side moving and reaching the same price up and down repeatedly (DOGE ?) this could give you good profits: set a price to buy and a price to sell and the bot will keep buying/selling at that price (or better)."

So, it should buy under the PP_BUY value.

Let's say it's a bug.
Maybe switch to v3.3.2 to play PP?

Isn't he supposed to buy at 302?
PP_BUY: 302

I like how you always scientifically approach problems or ideas!

Please also read forum/github on the GB success of stop-loss, as if I remember well, some version have had signaled problems.
The key in this above technic is to make tiny losses; so, hopefully GB behaves well!

IMO : we'd be very happy to only have a stable/reliable version for the existing features, or even with less features.

32
Ah, very sorry, and I don't know :-(

I use pure gunthy, no GUI - this way I can separate the problems, not to get the situation you just described, and if I understood you well.
Good luck -

Interesting that it works.
I may acquire a Kraken licence one of these days...
Right now I'm in pause, waiting for the new stable version and thinking.

I don't like this guy, but watched this and it made me think about a trade strategy...
I wonder if this can be applied and working, especially taking account the fees, which are relatively high (like bittrex 0.25% buying and 0.25% selling, it's not neglectable...)
Anyway, have a look maybe?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRCtBRsLPmk

For me anyway, the bot, or any bot, can make profits, IMO the main problem is the bags, or the losses if you stop-loss.
There is somewhere a working solution...

34
You mean... you had the 3.3.2 when you had the problems, or you had another version, but you also have the 3.3.2 ?!

Oooh OK. Do you have success trading EUR or fiat currency in Kraken with the bot?
I wish I could do this (and I've a registered Kraken account, but don't think their API is reliable...)

36
I'd recommand to stick to 3.3.2 version, for me it never crashed on bittrex.

Ha that's interesting to read aleks - I didn't read anything about 3.3.3+

I've not seen many comments about them here, or missed them: do you think 3.3.? is "better" (more reliable?) than the Legacy 3.3.2 ?
(on Bittrex?)
I'm asking this in case you / others tried them...

Version 3.3.2?

Even in BB, it will buy at BuyLevel % BELOW the lowest EMA.

Example, if set to 5, it won't buy if the price is above lowest EMA-5%

Usual values for BUY_LEVEL are 1 (risky) to 5 (far safer)...
