Technical Support & Development / Re: Bitmex pairs
« on: February 14, 2019, 01:27:24 AM »
I've managed to make the grid appear by placing random orders via Bitmex by hand, from there the bot also started to insert orders...
Maybe it had something to do with the account being never used before?

Once the first trade is made, the bot has a reference price to start working with :)

Now I'm getting "Ping from license server is unavailable." Switched to previous version (v11), and it says "Invalid response from license server, contact your reseller!"

I don't care about gunthy coin. Can I get my gunbot to run again PLEASE???

My gunthy wallet address is : 0xa1b00063c7bf37ad81e4d558b746ec599fa3130e and there's 0 coins there even though it's linked to my gunbot api. Where do I go to get the 1000 coins promised and get my gunbot to run again?

You don't need to get the tokens. You can just run the bot without them. In the case you want to get them, you just need to keep the bot turned on running v12 with your Gunthy wallet added and connected to the api keys you want to get the tokens for. Adding 1 pair is enough and you can enable "Watch_mode" if you don't want to trade and just get the tokens. When? When the next airdrop takes place. Last time it was a few days ago, but there will be airdrops in regular basics, so no rush. You reseller should let you know the date of the next airdrop.

Have you checked api permissions? You should check "Order" and uncheck "Cancel orders".

Is it too late to receive 1000 gunthy coins?

Also, what do you mean you have to have 1000 gunthy coins for gunbot to run?

There will be more airdrops, so you can still get 1000 Gunthys for each activated api you have.

Same thing here. 0.0 Gunthy arrived however the latest version running and the IDAX wallet is configured as Gunthy wallet. When will I need these coins to keep the bot working?

Edit: After a restart the bot said that I have 1000 coins but I can't see a single piece at IDAX. OK, let's wait. Maybe something with IDAX.

Once you link Gunthy wallet to your bot, you need 1000 G in order to run Gunbot. You can trade with those extra Gunthys you don't plan to use.

It says that I have 0 GUNTHY.  What did I do wrong?

My Gunbot (latest build) is up and running.

Note that in order to get the airdrop you need to:

1- Add your Gunthy wallet in the GUI.
2- Add at least 1 pair (you can leave the bot running on "watch_mode").
3- Connect all the apis you want to get the airdrop for.
4- Leave the bot running and keep it running when the airdrop takes place.

Hm what does it mean? That I will get additional 1000 GUNTHY for each activated licence (=2000 per licence)? What if I didnt activate all exchanges yet? :-\

If you got 1000 G yesterday, you will get 1000 more in the next airdrop.

You need to activate all your apis if you want to get 1000 G for each one.

"Too many redirects" msg is a known issue for recent v12 ARM version. It was released yesterday night and we are working to fix it asap. 12v beta is working fine for ARM. Anyway, better to wait a bit. It will be fixed for v12 Final very soon, most likely in a few hours  ;)

Hi Apepper, can you post the bot logs and the amount of base coin and secondary coin you have? So we can check if everything is ok, or there is something that needs to be fixed. Usually "bags in base" is fixed itself after making a new buy.

How can i manually set the bags to zero? I am having issues with the bot not trading as well. Most of my pairs have some "bags in base" but I dont have any of that coin at all.

"Bags in base" shows the value of your "bag" in base currency. It can happen that this value does not disappear after a sell order, this does not matter and it will be updated after the next buy order.

How do you redeem these tokens as a gunbot user?

Resellers will send you all detailed information on how to do it once v12 is launched (in the next few days).

I'd like to know as well. But I fear nobody is coming to answer this and other crucial questions. Gunthy doesn't care, other resellers are too busy cateri g to their customers, people who have insight to this and other important questions will never bother to write an answer because it might impact their profits. If you are a regular user, you are screwed since the only way is to "trial and error."

As you see, I have responded, I always try to help people in the forum. Obviously, as you said, for a reseller, the priority is to give support to our customers, the persons who purchased the bot license on our website. I don't know why you say the only way to learn is "trial and error". I don't know what kind of support gives your reseller. What I can tell you is that in my case, Gunbot.shop, we have a Telegram support group, we give personalized support, even support with Teamview, and we usually spend a lot of hours giving support. What I mean is, the forum is an extra help, but mainly the support should be given by your reseller, and he shouldn't leave you to learn with "trial and error".

For me, stepgain usually sells too early on a minor dip.

Exactly what controls Xtrend, and how can I set it to avoid selling on minor dips?

Do EMA1 and EMA2 control it? Or it it a combination of indicators?

Will raising EMA1 and EMA2 allow GB to miss the minor sell dips?

Thanks

Stepgain has always been one of my favorite strategies. To make it simple: You can sets 2 points, for example 1,5 and 10. That means that the bot will never sell unless the profit % is, at least, 1,5%. Once it reachs to 1,5% profit, it will check if the trend is going up, and in that case it will let the price raise as high as possible. If the price raises by 10%, it will sell. In the case the price is above between 1,5% and 10% and the trend starts going down, it sells. The point of all this is to try to sell at the higher price possible.

Regarding bot's reactivity. If you want to increase it when running stepgain:

1- Lower period.
2- Lower SMAperiod

If you feel it reachs too fast, just use a higher period, raise SMAPeriod, and raise delay.

On the other hand, since v11, there is a parameter called XTREND_ENABLED. If you enable it, Stepgain will work as it "always" worked since Gunbot v3. If you disable it, Stepgain will use the "old" logic, I mean, the logic the bot used on v2.04. I was curious about trying this because a lot of people kept using v2.0.4 for looong time because they said it was much better and profitable than the "new" loginc, and when I started using Gunbot, the latest version was v3, so I had never tried it. Now I did and I have to say I really like it and I think it's definitely worth to give it a try.

Hi Andre, I recommend you to check this:

https://gunbot.shop/gunbot-doesnt-make-trades-how-to-fix-it/

Also you can contact your reseller. He should be able to give you support and take a deep look into your issue.

On the other hand, v12 is about to be released. There is a very advanced beta right now. You could wait a bit and try v12, or just try the latest v12 beta. Anyway, your best bet is to contact your reseller and ask him to take a deep look into your settings and logs.

Hi Busera. It's hard to say without seeing the logs, but it seems that the price reached to target buying price and trailing was triggered. That means that it would buy if trailme were disabled. In the case it is, it needs to meet more conditions before buying. If the range is 0.5, the price needs to raise, at least, 0,5% more, and also, at the time of processing the pair, the price needs to be in the range. Note that the higher the range, the less trades you will get. On the other hand, the trades usually will get higher % profit for each trade. You could try lowering the range to 0.2 or 0.3 if you want more trades. I recommend you to take a look at this:
