Technical Support & Development / GB xt on lynux vps not reading .conf
« on: November 11, 2017, 01:25:41 AM »
I think gb is trying to run but it cant read the .conf file I had to put another } at the end to make the file validate and  I have tried changing the port from 5001 to 5000 but that does not help

Technical Support & Development / Re: License works on 3.3 but not on 5
« on: November 08, 2017, 10:04:27 AM »
My reseller was unable to do the v5 upgrade Guntha had to do it so message him too

Fine... I gave up. To use with polo with my existing key, may I get a link that works for the latest version?

This is what i used  it works i just watched it lol

https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/Gunthy/releases

but if you have not yet used any v5 then you will need to get Gunthar to enable v5

many ppl still use v3 .... as stable version

11
>if you have sent your new key to gunthar all you have to do is wait

I don't think so.
AFAIK, changing yourself your marketplace is not allowed.

You've to FIRST sell your licence for the old marketplace, THEN buy a new one for the new marketplace (a second hand one is fine).

HTH -

Yeah sorry I was thinking for a second key for the same site !

Hello,

I switched crypto exchange platform from poloniex to bittrex. In order for my key to be updated I sent PM to gunthar. Should I take any other action to resolve this matter?

Thank you.

if you have sent your new key to gunthar all you have to do is wait
if you got your licence from an authorised reseller  then ask them they might be able to help faster

Beginners & Help / Gb did not spend enough USDT
« on: November 03, 2017, 10:03:07 PM »
         },
         "USDT_***
                                        "TRADING_LIMIT": 5.0

so I asked GB to spend 5 USDT

But GB only spent   "0.00099946 USDT"  ,,,,,

is this just because of market conditions or am I missing something else that effects what GB spends ??

Edit my USDT balance was 70 USDT

Beginners & Help / Re: BB settings
« on: October 09, 2017, 01:09:46 AM »
I haven' t bothered, but instead adjusted my settings to mimic the exchange BBs.

So are you saying that you changed GB settings so that these GB bb readings

[  — Gunbot v3.3 Night Vision —------ ]
*****************************************************************************

Low Bollinger Band 0.00039857 — High Bollinger Band 0.00047949

read the same as the exchange bb lines ?

Technical Support & Development / Re: Help with stop loss
« on: October 08, 2017, 11:48:31 PM »
I guess you mean
"STOP_LIMIT": 60,
it means GB will autosell if the price drops 60% below what you paid

some people set this high some set it low

19
I used this guide it is by far the easiest to follow however when I got to here

$ pm2 start gunthy-linx64
please note that the above command will stop when you shut down the console.

13. To make Ubuntu run GUNBOT in the background, at all times, here are the key commands;
TO START THE BOT
$ pm2 start gunthy-linx64
TO STOP THE BOT
$ pm2 stop gunthy-linx64
TO MONITOR TRADES
$ pm2 MONIT
TO MONITOR LOGS
$ pm2 logs

Both the "start" commands are the same I do not see how one will keep the bot running and the other the bot will close when the terminal is closed ??
What happen to me was straight after I installed PM2 I was able to start and stop the bot
but
then I scrolled up a bit and noticed that PM2 was offering me the opportunity too do this

                Make pm2 auto-boot at server restart:

                $ pm2 startup

because it sounded like it would restart if my VPS rebooted I did it but then was unable to stop the bot because of this error

[PM2][ERROR] Permission denied, command needs to be runned as root - access file: /home/XXXXXXXXX/.pm2/rpc.sock

So I will reinstall and not run pm2 startup unless anyone can put any light on this

thanks
