Title: Binance API key change
Post by: OPR42 on July 05, 2018, 08:41:01 AM
Hi all,

Since yesterday, Binance deleted all existing API keys on their exchange, so we had to create a new one to continue to use GunBOT on it, but of course, we have to get this new API key accepted by GunBOT.

I've asked Gunthar to replace my old API key by my new one, but he is not responding. I guess he's very busy as many people are concerned.
Who else could help us to make our GunBOTS functionnal again on Binance?

Thanks and regards

I thought that's why we had a separate master key--so that we could leave that alone and just change the 'non-master' key.

Is that not how it's supposed to work?

My Binance key IS my master key... I bought the Christmas pack with all exchanges but I would like to stay on Binance...

Contact your reseller to reset your Binance API.

What's the point of the master key then, Cryptosticks?

Incidentally, I got one of my licenses updated through one of my resellers.  It's working fine.

But the first license I bought, I bought from an individual through your (Cryptostick's) escrow service, and I wouldn't imagine that the guy I bought it from is responsible for updating the API key--I'd imagine the only person that can fix that is Gunther himself...

The master key lets you have one main API key that acts as your license.  You can also have unlimited SLAVE API keys (but they have to be in the same account as your MASTER!  You can’t have slave keys for your buddy or neighbor; only have SLAVES on the same account as MASTER).

Slave keys let you have more GunBot instances running (each on their unique API key).  You don’t need to let us know about your slave keys: the GunBot license server verifies your master key.

If I did the escrow then I am the reseller for tech support issues.  Please contact me on Telegram.

I purchased my license from "tradingbot.org" which WAS an approved reseller from the list.  Unfortunately their site seems to be no longer active.  To whom could I reach out for an API key change?

Thanks in advance!

Same issue here, after reinstall Gunbot.

I stopped to use it on june 2018 and use it again since yesterday.

Hi, ask you reseller to change your api key. Binance removed all the old apis on 4th June 2018 when they did a maintenance upgrade.

The new gunbot should allow you to change your api keys, but if it doesn't your reseller should be able to help you out.
Hope you get it figured out.
