Trading permutations of pairs
« on: October 03, 2017, 02:45:16 PM »
Would it be advisable to trade permutations of pairs?

Let's say for example, I am trading BTC-ETH, BTC-XMR and BTC-LTC, would it be wise to add the pairs ETH-XMR and ETH-LTC too?

What are the advantages/disadvantages?

At least with older versions (v3.x) , I've read it fucks up everything if you've the same currency versus 2 different base ones, like: BTC-XMR and ETH-XMR

Because then the bot doesn't remember/mixes up in which currency it bought it, and the the sale is catastrophic or impossible.

If that can help...

You can use multiple accounts with one license. So, open another account on the same exchange you have your license on, (the first is used for BTC base) for ETH base, get new API and send it to Gunthar to validate into your existing license. Gunthar does not charge for this. Your exchange, OTOH, must allow multiple accounts.
